Pricing & fees

A review-first process, before any fee is quoted.

JBW does not publish package prices or activate checkout before a matter is reviewed. Scope, records, research needs, jurisdiction, timing, and the exact requested work product all matter.

The process

No generic fees for non-generic work.

A written quote is provided only after JBW has reviewed the requested project and confirmed that the support may be offered within a lawful scope.

What a quote covers

Unless a written agreement says otherwise, any quote applies to the individual work product—such as a motion, petition, brief, memorandum, response, reply, records package, or research task—identified in that quote. Federal matters may require greater review and research. Third-party or out-of-pocket costs may be separate.

Cancellation and refunds

Fees are generally nonrefundable once work has begun, or as specified by the signed agreement, subject to applicable law and non-waivable consumer rights. A service agreement will state the applicable cancellation, refund, and payment terms for the defined work product before payment is requested.

Before payment

Review, agreement, then payment.

The future payment flow requires affirmative acknowledgement of the agreed scope, fees, expenses, limitations, and cancellation/refund terms. Payment processing is not currently active on this site.
